On Thursday September 10th at our pop-up shop in SoHo we had our New York Fashion Week runway show for the Spring Summer 2010 season.

Styled by our friend and style director at Elle magazine, Kate Lanphear, the show was inspired by the hardship of Charlie Chaplin's world. The time around the making of the film The Circus was our focus, as Chaplin's life was the most challenging then. None the less, the man smiled when he did not need to - and he made people laugh when he himself was hurting the most.

Beauty.com was our main sponsor, which we were very proud to have them behind us. Our friend, Oscar Blandi came to style the hair on one of the busiest days of his life. Stila provided the make-up - which was dark and edgy. Gigi Burris was the milliner that provided the handmade hats. Deborah Lippmann turned the nails of the models into the perfect mess it was intended to be. And we rounded out the evening with Lillet, Solerno, and Trim Water providing the refreshments.

We can not put into words the effort that so many people put into making the evening a success. So we can only say thank you and that we appreciate everything.
